  • Responsible Use of AI: Understand that AI chat, virtual doctor, health prediction, and emotion tracker features provide informational support and recommendations, not professional medical diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.
  • Emergency Situations: Not use Carenium for medical emergencies. In case of an emergency, immediately contact emergency services or visit the nearest hospital.
  • Compliance with Laws: Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including those related to healthcare and data privacy in India.
  • Prohibited Conduct: Not misuse the application by attempting to gain unauthorized access, introducing malicious software, or engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the integrity or performance of the application or its data.
  • Account Security: Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

Carenium provides a range of health-related services, but it's important to understand their limitations:

  • Not Medical Advice: The information provided by Carenium, including through AI chat, virtual doctor, symptom checker, drug info, and health prediction features, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional medical consultation.
  • Accuracy of Information: While we strive for accuracy, Carenium does not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any information, recommendations, or predictions generated by the AI or provided through the application. Healthcare information is constantly evolving.
  • Third-Party Services: Features like finding nearby hospitals, doctor consultation, and hospital directory may involve third-party providers. Carenium is not responsible for the services or practices of these third parties.
  • Device Dependency: The accuracy of features like heart monitor, wellness monitor, and fitness tracker may depend on the accuracy and proper functioning of your device's sensors or connected wearables.
  • Availability: Carenium strives for continuous availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access to its services. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

4. Data Usage and Privacy

Your privacy is critically important to us. Our data collection, usage, and protection practices are detailed in our comprehensive Privacy Policy. By using Carenium, you consent to the data practices described therein. We primarily collect data for user health-related issues to provide and improve our services, including but not limited to:

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality within Carenium, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and software, are the exclusive property of Carenium or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Carenium shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Information regarding Indian laws about the medical field, as provided within the application, is for general knowledge and reference only and should not be considered legal advice.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Carenium immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the application will immediately cease.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our application after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
